Pubs & Restaurants
Located in our own village of Baschurch, the New Inn is just minutes away from Riverside Cabins. The New Inn is a welcoming traditional village pub and restaurant that serves a wide variety of dishes, including a full vegan menu, along with a great selection of wines and ales. You can even get a gourmet pizza to take away to your cabin.
Located in the village of Loppington, The Dickin Arms is just 15 minutes away from Riverside Cabins. The Dickin Arms has been beautifully renovated over recent years and is a very popular village pub and restaurant that serves a wide variety of dishes, including tapas. The team take great pride in serving the best locally sourced produce and often change the menu to suit the season.
Located in the village of Myddle, The Red Lion is just 10 minutes away from Riverside Cabins. The Red Lion dates back to the 17th century, its original floors and beams remain a feature. The Red Lion serves food and drink 7 days a week.
Farm Shops, Delis & Cafes
Located in the village of Baschurch Moor Farm shop and cafe is just minutes away from Riverside Cabins. The shop serves meats reared on the farm along with a variety of vegetables, breads, cakes and deli delights.
The on-site cafe serves home cooked meals, cakes and drinks throughout the day with lots of open space and walks to enjoy during your visit. Tables can booked ahead.
Located approx. 20 minutes from Riverside Cabins, Battlefield 1403 is more than just a farm shop, it’s one of the best butcheries in the UK, a well stocked deli counter, a shop full of speciality great tasting local food and drink, a museum celebrating the Battle of Shrewsbury, a Falconry Centre, Archie Sparrow’s trail for children, and a cafe full of homemade fresh food.

Located approx. 15 minutes from Riverside Cabins, Churncote farm shop is a beautifully converted former cowshed, just five minutes from Shrewsbury town centre.
Here, in relaxed and friendly surroundings, customers are guaranteed fantastic-tasting food thanks to Churncote's continuing focus on freshness, seasonality, and local sourcing.
That commitment extends next door to the Cote Kitchen with a menu that showcases Churncote's own produce as well as fresh, quality ingredients from other local suppliers.
