Riverside Cabins have opened their doors to provide accommodation and a place to call home for all key workers in the public or private sector who would be considered as 'providing an essential service' during this period of government-enforced lockdown.

 

At Riverside Cabins you will find six self-catering and self-contained cabins, set amongst ten acres of tranquil woodland along the river Perry between Baschurch and Ruyton XI Towns in beautiful Shropshire. We are only fifteen minutes drive to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and RJAH Hospital, Gobowen, twenty-five-minutes drive to the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford and a thirty minutes drive to Wrexham Maelor.  We are also welcoming key workers from all other emergency services, the construction industry, engineering, charitable organisations, essential retail, transport providers and journalists.

 

Keeping our guests and staff safe during the pandemic has been our priority.  We have been operating a contactless guest arrival process throughout the pandemic.  Our enhanced cleaning processes include all cabins being fogged with recommended disinfectant at every changeover and we have fully embraced the 'we're good to go' Visit England campaign following all recommended guidance.

 

Each bespoke cabin is set twenty metres apart with a private balcony. Internally the cabins have a double-sized bed, although bedrooms can be made up to suit each keyworkers requirements with additional beds added if required.  Cabins also include a wall-mounted TV, en-suite walk-in shower room and separate W.C. with hand basin.  The open-plan kitchen/dining area includes an induction hob, fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, and toaster, along with all the everyday kitchen/dining essentials.

 

Bi-fold doors open on to the balcony area with views of the river and surrounding woodland, an area to enjoy a peaceful and much earned rest while maintaining social distancing. Each cabin comes with its own parking area for one car (please contact us if you need more).

 

Our standard rate is discounted by 10% for midweek stays until 20 June 2021 for all keyworkers, and we offer a regular cabin deep clean and linen/towel change.

 

A local farm-shop is able to deliver goods directly to each cabin and the local supermarket in Baschurch can also offer snappy shopper delivery, we also have a number of local establishments that have provided takeaway meals through COVID-19.
